4. Quantum Information Theory

Both discrete quantum systems, such as qubits (two-level systems) and qudits (higher-dimensional quantum systems), and continuous-variable (CV) quantum systems, such as modes of light, play crucial roles as testbeds for the study of quantum information theory and quantum computation. Each platform offers unique advantages and challenges, and our research aims to explore their potential for advancing fundamental understanding and practical applications of quantum technologies.

Following are our interests in this direction:

By exploring these two directions—quantum protocols under energy constraints and efficient handling of unknown quantum states—we seek to advance both theoretical insights and practical methodologies in quantum information science. These investigations not only address foundational questions but also have direct implications for developing scalable, resource-efficient quantum technologies.
